Today I’d like to welcome Sue Brown, who many of you have probably already met as she’s been to the last two UK Meets. Sue is donating the royalties from her latest book, The Sky is Dead, to the Albert Kennedy Trust–a Manchester-based charity set up to help homless LGBTQ youth. Go Sue!
Dog-loving, coffee and chocolate addict who loves her morning commute to the sofa to write angsty stories about hot boys.
2) Tell us something about you that might come as a surprise!
Umm… I find huge lorries a big turn on. I know that’s odd.
3) What do you like most about the LGBTQ genre?
The possibilities are endless. There is nothing I can’t write within the genre. People asked me if I’m limited when I write MM. Are you kidding me? It takes my beige world, throws it up in the air, and brings it back down in rainbows. Power balances are different, societal attitudes are difference. I can write in any sub-genre and have so much fun.
Also I love reading the genre.
4) What are you most looking forward to about UK Meet?
A chance to gossip with the people I only talk to on-line, and fangirl over a couple of my favourite authors.
5) If you had one wish which would come true at UK Meet, what would that be?
I’d like a chance to talk to everyone, and I’m going to. Be warned!
