Today, please give a warm welcome to E.J. Sutter, an author who has recently had her first book published. It’s E.J.s first time attending the Meet. I hope you get everything out of it you’re hoping for, E.J.!
I’m originally from Liverpool, but now live in Lancashire, via a 7 year stint in London. I have two dogs, with 1 brain cell between them, and two cats. I have a BSc, which surprised a Tarot reader, who read me as an artistic person. She was actually more accurate than she realised, and I’ve recently completed a BA in English Literature. I’m now taking a basic course on web design. I’m a glutton for punishment, I guess.
2) Tell us something about you that might come as a surprise!
I don’t have much confidence in myself, which isn’t immediately apparent, and it always comes as a surprise when people like something I’ve written.
3) What do you like most about the LGBTQ genre?
It’s an opportunity to explore what makes us different as people, and how we can face and overcome difficulties if we just accept each other. Plus, I alway find it easier to write male characters than female for some reason!
4) What are you most looking forward to about UK Meet?
Seeing an old friend and getting to know new ones, hopefully.
5) If you had one wish which would come true at UK Meet, what would that be?
That I come away with some new and abiding friendships.
